TikTok Banner with Three Pinned Posts
How to create a continuous profile banner look by splitting one wide image into three pinned photo posts.
When the native TikTok profile banner is not available, the standard workaround is to turn one wide design into three vertical tiles, post them as photos, and pin them so they form a continuous banner at the top of the profile grid.
Size and split
- Full image around 3240 × 1440 pixels works well
- Each tile should be 3:4 (for example 1080 × 1440) so it matches TikTok’s grid thumbnails
- Use any image editor or online splitter that cuts into three equal vertical pieces
Post order
TikTok shows the newest post in the top-left of the grid. To make the banner read left to right:
- Post the right tile first
- Post the middle tile second
- Post the left tile third
Then pin all three posts so they stay at the top of the profile.
Tips
- Keep important text and faces away from the edges where tiles meet
- Use the same crop style (fill or fit) on every tile so the join looks clean
- This method uses only the official TikTok app
