TikTok Banner Size and Design Tips
Recommended dimensions, aspect ratios and design practices for native banners and the three-tile pinned method.
Good banner results depend on size and safe placement of important elements.
Native banner (when available)
Use a wide image. A common practical range is around 1080 × 540 (2:1) or wider. Keep key faces and text toward the centre so they are less likely to be cropped on different devices. JPEG or PNG both work; keep file size reasonable.
Three pinned posts method
- Full width around 3240 × 1440
- Each tile 1080 × 1440 (3:4)
- Avoid critical content on the vertical seams between tiles
- Match crop style across all three tiles
